Filing statutory accounts is a legal requirement from HMRC to confirm the amount of profit generated by a business within their financial year (usually a 12-month period). Statutory accounts are due to be filed 9 months after the company year-end with payment being due a day later.
Companies House require company accounts to be filed within 12 months of the company year end.
